学芸大学の美容院「groovy」( @groovy.hair )の
オープンを記念して生まれたこのビール。
気づけば時も流れ、3月で3周年を迎えることもあって
久しぶりに仕込んでみました。
"みんなで楽しく祝えるような、重すぎず、
華やかで、今っぽさがいっぱいのHazy IPA"
というイメージはそのままに、
酵母やドライホップのタイミングなど新しい方法を試してみました。
仕上がりですが、パイナップルや柑橘系の明るく
はっきりとした香りでHazyらしくジューシーな飲み口ですが、
度数もやや低めなこともあって、
しつこい甘さはなくドライな飲み口です。
パイントサイズでも気持ちよく飲み切れる
味わいのバランスなのかなと思っています。

そして、今回は学大繋がりということで
"Sanity"( @sanity.gakudai )を象徴する
お花も組み合わせた特別ラベルになっています。
週末のイベントでも先行開栓しましたが、
1番最初に樽が空くほど人気でした！

普段あまり作らないスタイルですが、
たまにやってみると楽しいですね。

This beer was created to celebrate the opening of the "groovy" hair salon (@groovy.hair) in Gakugei-daigaku. Time has flown by, and with the salon reaching its 3rd anniversary this March, I decided to brew it again after quite some time. The idea was to make a "Hazy IPA that everyone can enjoy celebrating, not too heavy, vibrant, and full of modern flair," and I've stuck to that concept while trying out new techniques, such as experimenting with yeast and the timing of dry hopping.

The result is a bright and distinct aroma of pineapple and citrus, with a juicy mouthfeel characteristic of a Hazy IPA. Thanks to its slightly lower alcohol content, it doesn't have an overwhelming sweetness and has a dry finish. I believe the flavor balance makes it a beer that you can easily drink a pint of.

Additionally, since this is a Gakugei-daigaku collaboration, the special label features flowers that symbolize "Sanity" (@sanity.gakudai). It was tapped early at the weekend event and became so popular that the first keg ran out quickly!

This isn't a style I usually make, but it was fun to try it out. It was just bottled on February 14th, so I’d be happy if you could enjoy it while it's still fresh!
